- 8 oz. cream cheese, room temperature
- ¼ cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Crumble Topping
- 2 tablespoon unsalted butter, melted
- ¼ cup brown sugar
- ½ teaspoon cinnamon
- ¼ cup all-purpose flour
Instructions
- Prepare the Sweet Brioche Dough: Combine warm milk, yeast, and sugar. Mix in flour, sugar, salt, egg yolks, and vanilla. Add butter and knead until smooth.
- Make the Apple Filling: Cook apples with butter, sugar, and spices until tender.
- Prepare the Sweet Cream Cheese: Beat cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla until smooth.
- Assemble the Buns: Roll out dough, spread cream cheese, top with apple filling, and crumble topping. Roll into buns and let rise.
