- 1 sprig Fresh Rosemary
- 1 sprig Fresh Thyme
- 1 tbsp Dijon Mustard
- 1 tsp Fresh Ginger (grated)
- ¼ tsp Nutmeg
- 1 Honeycrisp Apple (large)
- 4 Chicken Thighs (skin-on)
- 1 tsp Salt
- ½ tsp Ground Black Pepper
- ½ tsp Garlic Powder
- ½ tsp Onion Powder
- ½ tsp Smoked Paprika
- 2 tbsp Avocado Oil
Instructions
- Prepare the Glaze: In a saucepan, combine apple cider, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, brown sugar, garlic, onion, rosemary, thyme, mustard, ginger, and nutmeg. Simmer until reduced by half.
- Cook the Chicken: Season chicken thighs with salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and smoked paprika. Sear in a skillet, then add sliced apple and pour the glaze over the chicken. Bake until chicken is cooked through.
Notes
- Make sure to baste the chicken with the glaze while baking for extra flavor.
- You can substitute chicken thighs with chicken breasts if preferred.
