Description

This Bang Bang Salmon recipe features perfectly cooked salmon fillets topped with a creamy and spicy Bang Bang sauce, all ready in just 15 minutes.

Ingredients

Scale

For the Salmon:

  • 4 salmon fillets (6 oz each), skin-on or skinless
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika

For the Bang Bang Sauce:

  • ½ cup mayonnaise (or Greek yogurt for a lighter version)
  • 3 tablespoons sweet chili sauce
  • 2 tablespoons sriracha (adjust to taste)
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • Juice of 1 lime
  • 2 green onions, finely chopped

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Season the salmon: In a small bowl, mix olive oil, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and paprika. Rub this mixture over the salmon fillets.
  3. Bake the salmon: Place the seasoned salmon fillets on the prepared baking sheet and bake for about 12-15 minutes or until cooked through.
  4. Make the Bang Bang Sauce: In another bowl, mix mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, sriracha, honey, lime juice, and green onions.
  5. Serve: Once the salmon is cooked, drizzle the Bang Bang sauce over the fillets and serve hot.

Notes

  • You can adjust the spiciness of the Bang Bang sauce by adding more or less sriracha.
  • This recipe works well with other types of fish like tilapia or cod.
