Burger Bowls are a deconstructed version of a classic burger, served in a bowl for a fun twist. This recipe features seasoned beef mince, crispy potatoes, fresh lettuce, cheese, pickles, and a flavorful burger sauce.

Spice Mix:
- 1 ½ teaspoons smoked paprika
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano or mixed herbs
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
For the Bowls:
- 2–3 medium potatoes
- 2 tablespoons olive oil divided
- 500 grams lean beef mince
- Lettuce shredded
- Cheese dairy-free or regular
- Pickle slices
For the Burger Sauce:
- 4 tablespoons mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon ketchup
- 1 teaspoon mustard dijon or yellow
- 1 teaspoon pickle juice from the jar of pickles
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon smoked paprika
Instructions
- Prepare Spice Mix: Combine smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, oregano, salt, and pepper in a small bowl.
- Cook Potatoes: Cut potatoes into cubes, toss with olive oil and half of the spice mix, then bake until crispy.
- Cook Beef: Brown beef mince in a pan with the remaining spice mix until cooked through.
- Assemble Bowls: Divide lettuce, potatoes, beef, cheese, and pickles among serving bowls.
- Make Burger Sauce: Mix mayonnaise, ketchup, mustard, pickle juice, garlic powder, and smoked paprika in a bowl.
- Serve: Drizzle burger sauce over the bowls and enjoy!
Notes
- You can customize the toppings to your preference by adding tomatoes, onions, avocado, or any other burger toppings you enjoy.
- For a vegetarian option, you can substitute the beef mince with plant-based mince or grilled mushrooms.
