- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup powdered sugar, sifted

Instructions
- Prepare the Carrot Cake: Preheat the oven, mix dry ingredients, beat eggs and sugars, add vanilla and carrots, fold in dry ingredients and nuts, bake and cool.
- Make the Cream Cheese Frosting: Beat cream cheese and butter, add powdered sugar and vanilla, mix until smooth.
