Description

  • 1/4 tsp each of nutmeg, allspice, cardamom, and ginger

Wet Ingredients:

  • 1 cup pumpkin puree
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 large eggs

Fold In:

    • 1 cup chocolate chips

Ganache Topping:

    • 1/2 cup heavy cream
    • 2 cups dark chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan.
  2. In a large bowl, mix together the dry ingredients.
  3. In another bowl, whisk the wet ingredients until well combined.
  4. Combine the wet and dry ingredients, then fold in the chocolate chips.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and bake for about 60-70 minutes.
  6. Let the bread cool before adding the ganache topping.
  7. For the ganache, heat the cream until steaming, then pour over the chocolate chips. Stir until smooth and pour over the cooled bread.
