Chicken and Cheese

  • 5.3 ounces garlic & fine herbs Boursin cheese (1 package)
  • ½ cup freshly shredded mozzarella cheese

Instructions

  1. Prepare the chicken: Pat the thinly sliced chicken breasts dry with paper towels to ensure better seasoning adhesion and easier rolling.
  2. Season the chicken: In a small bowl, combine garlic powder, smoked paprika, Italian seasoning, kosher salt, and ground black pepper. Sprinkle the mixture evenly over both sides of the chicken slices.
  3. Spread the cheese: Lay the seasoned chicken slices flat and spread a generous layer of garlic & fine herbs Boursin cheese over each slice.
  4. Add mozzarella: Sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese on top of the Boursin cheese layer to add a gooey texture once cooked.
  5. Roll the chicken: Carefully roll up each chicken slice tightly to encase the cheeses inside, securing the filling.
  6. Cook the roll ups: Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat. Add a small amount of oil or butter. Place the chicken roll ups seam side down in the skillet to prevent unrolling. Cook for 5-7 minutes on each side until the chicken is cooked through and cheese inside has melted. Make sure the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
