  • 225 g ham, thinly sliced
  • Breading:

    • Peanut oil or vegetable oil, for frying
    • 125 g all-purpose flour
    • 4 eggs, beaten
    • 100 g panko bread crumbs
  • Creamy Dijon Sauce:

    • 3 tablespoons butter
    • 2 garlic cloves, minced
    • 3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
    • 480 mL milk
    • 60 g Dijon mustard
    • 100 g shredded Parmesan cheese
    • Salt, to taste
    • Black pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Chicken: Season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Cut a pocket in each chicken breast and stuff with Swiss cheese and ham slices.
  2. Breading: In separate bowls, place flour, beaten eggs, and panko breadcrumbs. Dredge each stuffed chicken breast in flour, dip in eggs, and coat with breadcrumbs.
  3. Fry the Chicken: Heat oil in a pan and fry breaded chicken breasts until golden brown and cooked through.
  4. Make the Creamy Dijon Sauce: In a saucepan, melt butter, sauté garlic, whisk in flour, pour in milk, add Dijon mustard, Parmesan cheese, salt, and pepper. Cook until thickened.
  5. Serve: Slice the crispy creamy chicken cordon bleu and drizzle with the creamy Dijon sauce. Enjoy hot!
