Description

These Crockpot French Dip Sandwiches are juicy and flavorful, perfect for a comforting meal. The chuck roast is slow-cooked with a savory blend of beef consomme, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, and garlic, then served on crusty rolls with melted provolone cheese for a delicious sandwich.

Main Ingredients:

    • 3 lb chuck roast
    • 1 can (10.5 oz) beef consomme
    • 1 cup beef broth
    • 1/4 cup soy sauce
    • 1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce
    • 3 garlic cloves, minced
    • 1 tsp dried thyme
    • 1 tsp onion powder
    • Salt and pepper to taste

Additional Ingredients:

  • 6 crusty sandwich rolls
  • 6 slices provolone cheese

Instructions

  1. Season and Sear the Chuck Roast: Season the chuck roast with salt and pepper. Sear on all sides in a hot skillet until browned.
  2. Combine Ingredients in Crockpot: Place the chuck roast in the crockpot. Add beef consomme, beef broth, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, garlic, thyme, and onion powder.
  3. Cook: Cover and cook on low for 7-8 hours or until the meat is tender.
  4. Assemble Sandwiches: Shred the meat and serve on crusty rolls with provolone cheese.
  5. Serve: Serve with a side of au jus for dipping.
