Description

This Dump-and-Bake Meatball Casserole is a simple and delicious meal that requires minimal effort. Just layer frozen meatballs, pasta sauce, uncooked pasta, and cheese in a casserole dish, then bake until bubbly and golden. It’s a perfect weeknight dinner option for busy families!

Main Ingredients:

  • 1 pound frozen meatballs
  • 1 can (24 ounces) pasta sauce
  • 1 cup water
  • 2 cups uncooked pasta (such as penne or rigatoni)
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Optional:

  • fresh basil or parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F.
  2. Layer frozen meatballs, pasta sauce, water, uncooked pasta, and half of the mozzarella and Parmesan cheese in a casserole dish.
  3. Cover with foil and bake for 45 minutes.
  4. Remove foil, sprinkle with remaining cheese, and bake uncovered for an additional 15 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.
  5. Garnish with fresh basil or parsley before serving.
