Instructions
- Melt Butter and Marshmallows: In a large microwave-safe bowl, melt the butter in the microwave until fully liquid. Add the package of marshmallows and stir to coat them evenly with the butter. Microwave on high for one minute or until the marshmallows are completely melted and smooth.
- Combine with Cereal: Stir the Rice Krispies cereal into the melted marshmallow mixture until the cereal is thoroughly coated and blended.
- Add Mini Marshmallows and Sprinkles: Fold in the mini marshmallows and pastel sprinkles evenly throughout the mixture to distribute the festive colors and textures.
- Shape the Treats: Grease a 9 x 13-inch pan and pat the mixture firmly into the pan to create an even layer.
- Decorate and Set: Arrange the marshmallow Peeps bunnies on top of the pressed mixture. Allow the treats to set at room temperature for 20 to 30 minutes until firm enough to slice and serve.
