Main Ingredients:
- 2 cups cooked jasmine rice cold & day-old (or sub with any white long grain rice)
- 1 green onion finely chopped
- 2.5 tablespoon regular soy sauce or light soy sauce (avoid dark soy sauce)
- ½ tablespoon sesame oil
- 4 large eggs beaten
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil or any neutral oil
Instructions
- Prepare Ingredients: Have all the ingredients measured and ready.
- Saute Vegetables: Heat oil in a pan, add green onions, and cook until fragrant.
- Add Rice: Add cold rice to the pan and stir-fry until heated through.
- Scramble Eggs: Push the rice to the side, pour beaten eggs into the pan, and scramble until cooked.
- Combine: Mix the eggs with the rice, add soy sauce and sesame oil, and stir well.
- Serve: Garnish with additional green onions and enjoy!
Notes
- To enhance the flavor, you can add garlic, ginger, or your choice of vegetables and protein.
