For the Lasagna:
- 1 box of lasagna noodles
- 1 pound of large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 4 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup of butter
- 1/4 cup of all-purpose flour
- 2 cups of milk
- 1 cup of grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 cup of shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/4 cup of chopped fresh parsley
- Salt and pepper to taste
For the Garlic Butter Sauce:
- 1/2 cup of butter
- 4 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup of chopped fresh parsley
- 1 tablespoon of lemon juice
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Cook the lasagna noodles: Boil a pot of water, add salt and lasagna noodles, cook until al dente, then drain and set aside.
- Prepare the shrimp: In a pan, melt butter, sauté garlic, add shrimp, and cook until pink. Set aside.
- Make the sauce: In the same pan, melt butter, sauté garlic, stir in flour, slowly add milk, then add cheeses, parsley, salt, and pepper.
- Assemble the lasagna: Layer noodles, shrimp, sauce, and repeat. Top with remaining sauce, mozzarella, and parsley.
- Bake: Cover with foil, bake until bubbly, then broil for a golden crust.
