  • 1 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup semolina flour
  • 3 large eggs
  • 3⁄4 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 cups whole milk

  • Pinch of salt
  • 1⁄2 cup honey, warmed
  • 2 tbsp sesame seeds, toasted

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Custard: In a saucepan, combine semolina, sugar, milk, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt. Cook over medium heat until thickened. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
  2. Assemble the Pie: Layer phyllo sheets in a greased pan, brushing each sheet with melted butter. Pour the custard over the phyllo layers.
