  • 67g granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 355ml cold espresso
  • 3 tbsp coffee-flavored liqueur (optional, like Kahlua)
  • 1 package ladyfingers
  • Cocoa powder, for dusting

Instructions

  1. Whip the cream: In a large bowl, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form.
  2. Mix mascarpone mixture: In another bowl, combine mascarpone cheese, sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  3. Combine ingredients: Gently fold the whipped cream into the mascarpone mixture.
  4. Layer the tiramisu: Dip ladyfingers into espresso and arrange a layer in a dish. Spread half of the mascarpone mixture over the ladyfingers.
  5. Repeat layers: Repeat the layering process with remaining ingredients.
  6. Chill and serve: Refrigerate the tiramisu for at least 2 hours. Dust with cocoa powder before serving.

Notes

  • For a non-alcoholic version, skip the coffee liqueur.
  • Adjust the sweetness by adding more or less sugar to taste.
