Description

These Halloween deviled eggs are a spooky twist on a classic appetizer. The creamy avocado filling is colored with green, red, and blue food coloring to create a ghostly appearance that’s perfect for any Halloween party.

  • 2 whole avocados
  • 3 tablespoons light mayo

  • 15 drops red food coloring
  • 15 drops blue food coloring

Instructions

  1. Boil the eggs: Place the eggs in a pot of water and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes. Remove from heat and let cool.
  2. Prepare avocado filling: Cut the avocados and scoop out the flesh into a bowl. Add mayo, mustard, garlic salt, salt, and pepper. Mash and mix until smooth.
  3. Color the filling: Divide the filling into three bowls. Add green food coloring to one, red to another, and blue to the third. Mix well.
  4. Fill the eggs: Peel the boiled eggs and slice in half. Remove the yolks and fill each half with the colored avocado mixture.
