- 1½ cup Sugar
- 1 cup Corn Syrup
- ½ cup Water
- ½ cup Peanut Butter
- ½ tsp Vanilla Extract
Chocolate Coating
- 500 g Semi Sweet Chocolate
Instructions
- Prepare the Caramel: Combine sugar, heavy cream, milk, and salt in a saucepan. Cook over medium heat until the mixture reaches 240°F. Stir in peanuts and pour into a lined baking dish.
- Make the Peanut Nougat: Beat egg white until stiff peaks form. In a separate saucepan, combine sugar, corn syrup, and water. Cook until it reaches 275°F, then slowly stream into the egg white. Add peanut butter and vanilla, mix well, then spread over the caramel layer.
- Add the Chocolate Coating: Melt the semi-sweet chocolate and pour over the nougat layer. Spread evenly and chill until set. Cut into bars and enjoy!
