  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter (melted)
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Dough: In a bowl, combine warm water, yeast, and sugar. Let it sit for 5 minutes until foamy. Add flour, butter, and salt. Knead until a smooth dough forms.
  2. Rise the Dough: Cover and let the dough rise for 1 hour until doubled in size.
  3. Shape the Breadsticks: Divide the dough into equal pieces and roll them into sticks. Place on a baking sheet.
  4. Bake: Preheat the oven to 400°F. Bake the breadsticks for 12-15 minutes until golden brown.
  5. Add Topping: Mix melted butter, garlic powder, and salt. Brush the mixture over the warm breadsticks.
