- 1 teaspoon minced garlic
- ½ teaspoon onion powder

Garlic Parmesan Orzo:
- 2 cloves garlic (finely minced)
- 2½ cups low sodium chicken broth
- 1½ cups dry orzo pasta
- ⅔ cup cream
- ¼ cup shredded Parmesan cheese
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Make the Chicken Meatballs: In a bowl, mix together the ground chicken, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, milk, egg, parsley, Italian seasoning, salt, garlic, onion powder, and black pepper. Form into meatballs.
- Cook the Meatballs: Heat oil in a pan, add the meatballs, and cook until browned on all sides. Remove from pan.
- Make the Orzo: In the same pan, sauté garlic, then add chicken broth and orzo. Cook until orzo is tender.
- Finish the Dish: Stir in cream, Parmesan cheese, salt, and pepper. Add meatballs back to the pan and simmer until heated through.
