  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper

Garlic Parmesan Orzo:

  • 2 cloves garlic (finely minced)
  • 2½ cups low sodium chicken broth
  • 1½ cups dry orzo pasta
  • ⅔ cup cream
  • ¼ cup shredded Parmesan cheese
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Make the Chicken Meatballs: In a bowl, mix together the ground chicken, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, milk, egg, parsley, Italian seasoning, salt, garlic, onion powder, and black pepper. Form into meatballs.
  2. Cook the Meatballs: Heat oil in a pan, add the meatballs, and cook until browned on all sides. Remove from pan.
  3. Make the Orzo: In the same pan, sauté garlic, then add chicken broth and orzo. Cook until orzo is tender.
  4. Finish the Dish: Stir in cream, Parmesan cheese, salt, and pepper. Add meatballs back to the pan and simmer until heated through.
