Instructions
- Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C) and grease a 9-inch round cake pan.
- Mix dry ingredients: In a bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, ginger, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.
- Combine wet ingredients: In another bowl, mix the melted butter, honey, eggs, orange juice, orange zest, and grated ginger.
- Combine dry and wet ingredients: Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, stirring until just combined.
- Bake: Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Make the glaze: In a small saucepan, heat the honey and orange juice until combined. Drizzle over the cooled cake before serving.
