Description

These Soft Baked Maple Donut Bars are a delightful treat with a perfect balance of maple sweetness and cinnamon spice. They are soft, moist, and utterly delicious.

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon

Wet Ingredients:

  • 2 large eggs (room temperature)
  • 1/2 cup pure maple syrup
  • 1/2 cup milk (whole or non-dairy)
  • 1/4 cup melted butter (cooled)

For glaze:

  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tbsp milk

Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven: Preheat the oven to 350°F and grease a 9×9 inch baking pan.
  2. Mix Ingredients: In a mixing bowl, combine the dry ingredients. In a separate bowl, whisk together the wet ingredients. Gradually add the wet mixture to the dry ingredients, stirring until just combined.
  3. Bake: Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for about 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  4. Glaze: Mix powdered sugar and milk to make the glaze. Drizzle over the cooled donut bars.

Notes

  • For a richer flavor, substitute some of the milk with buttermilk.
