- 2 tbsp Cajun seasoning
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 2 tbsp honey
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 8 oz fettuccine (or pasta of choice)
- Reserved pasta water (as needed)
Instructions
- Season and cook the chicken: Season chicken with Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper. Cook in olive oil until browned and cooked through.
- Make the sauce: In the same pan, melt butter, add garlic, honey, and heavy cream. Simmer until thickened.
- Cook the pasta: Cook pasta according to package instructions, reserve some pasta water.
- Combine and serve: Toss cooked pasta with the sauce, adding reserved pasta water if needed. Serve chicken on top.
