- 1 cup powdered sugar
- ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 – 3 tablespoons milk
Instructions
- Prepare the strawberries: Toss sliced strawberries with cornstarch and sugar. Set aside.
- Make the cream cheese filling: In a bowl, mix cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla until smooth.
- Assemble the danish: Roll out puff pastry sheets, spread cream cheese filling, top with strawberries, fold edges, brush with egg wash, and sprinkle sugar.
- Bake: Bake in a preheated oven until golden brown.
- Glaze: Mix strawberry jam, powdered sugar, vanilla, and milk for the glaze. Drizzle over the baked danish.
