  • 1/2 cup (100g) caster sugar / superfine sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 yolk from a large egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Choc chips:

  • 1 1/2 cups (250g) dark chocolate chips / semi-sweet choc chips
  • 3/4 cup (150g) milk chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Prepare the dry ingredients: Combine flour, cornflour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt in a bowl.
  2. Prepare the wet ingredients: Cream butter, brown sugar, and caster sugar until light and fluffy. Add egg, egg yolk, and vanilla extract.
  3. Combine the wet and dry ingredients: Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture. Fold in chocolate chips.
  4. Bake the cookies: Scoop dough onto baking sheets, top with extra chocolate chips, and bake until golden brown.
