Ingredients

Scale

Sauce Ingredients

  • ½ cup ketchup
  • ⅓ cup honey
  • ¼ cup brown sugar
  • 23 Tablespoons soy sauce
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced

Meatballs

  • 1 (32-ounce) bag frozen fully cooked meatballs (about 50)
  • Garlic salt & pepper, to taste

For Serving

  • Cooked rice
  • Sliced green onions
  • Sesame seeds

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Sauce and Meatballs: In a medium bowl or the base of a slow cooker, combine ketchup, honey, brown sugar, soy sauce, and minced garlic. Add the frozen fully cooked meatballs and stir until they are evenly coated with the sauce. Sprinkle a pinch of garlic salt and pepper on top if desired.
  2. Slow Cook: Cook the meatballs on high for 2 to 3 hours or on low for 3 to 4 hours. Once cooked, switch the slow cooker to the warm setting to keep the meatballs at serving temperature. Adjust seasoning to taste.
  3. Serve: Enjoy the meatballs as a delicious appetizer, or serve them over cooked rice. Garnish with sliced green onions and sesame seeds for added flavor and presentation.
  4. Alternative Stove-Top Method: Combine the sauce ingredients in a large pot over medium-low heat. Once the sauce is well combined and warmed, stir in the frozen meatballs. Bring the mixture to a light simmer and cook for 10-15 minutes, or until the meatballs are heated through.

Notes

  • Stove Top Instructions: Combine sauce ingredients in a large pot over medium-low heat, stir in meatballs, simmer for 10-15 minutes until heated through.
